10 Best Supergroups Created by on 11/15/2012 3:24:58 PM
UltimateClassicRock.com has put together a list of The Top 10 Supergroups. In theory, these are groups that were formed with members who were already a big deal from their previous work / bands. So, like an all-star team.
--Naturally, most of the groups are from the '60s and '70s . . . when this sort of thing would happen. It's pretty rare these days.
--Here's the list:
1.) Cream . . . Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker.
2.) Crosby, Stills & Nash (and Young) . . . or as I like to call them CSN-and-sometimes-Y . . . David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young.
3.) The Traveling Wilburys . . . Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty.
4.) Bad Company . . . Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke, Mick Ralphs and Boz Burrell.
5.) Emerson, Lake & Palmer . . . Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer.
